Food whore and ketchuping with life

Ha! I'm so lame with the title! =) I haven't been keeping up with this blog since I haven't been doing much except work, sleep, eat, and the occasional shopping. (Args, I'm still trying to find the Miu Miu Napa bag but no cigars.) I'll sum up a little of each that I just mentioned.

Work: We started moving over to the new place and everything is just dusty and I'm overwhelmed with all the things we need to pack. I threw everything into boxes and hope for the best that it arrives! The dust is making my allergies act up. During the downtime, I was able to finish 3 macros that I intended to write awhile ago. Warren gave me an idea to write a program to save money on shopping. I'm so inferior to him!!

Foodies! It's best described with pics. Meg's Wing Zings. Remember to get it well done so that it's crispy. Shirokiya's wings are no comparison to them. Jamison by the Sea's wings were pretty good but Meg's still wins.
For lunch, I went to Meg's again for their mochiko chicken. Sorry, I didn't have a chance to take a pic because I was hungry and my coworkers were looking talking to me.

Shopping: Thanks for the X-Mas present! I love the Fleu-de-lis pendant.


I went to MAC 2x last week and bought Metal Urge's Pink Platinum & Gilded Ash. Pink Platinum is a great base for pink shadows. I've been on this quest to make pink eyeshadows work with me and with Pink Platinum it helped make Rose e/s more vibrant.

On my second trip to MAC, I bought the Charming Garnet set because I wanted the 181se brush. It was so cute I couldn't leave the store without it. =D I have the 182 and the 181 that I adore so much so my set wouldn't be complete without the 181se. The 181se is less fluffier and feels stiffer than the 181 but $40 I think it was worth it. The package included a pouch, eyeliner, Bare slimshine, mascara, and a highlighter. Also, the MAC salesperson enticed me to buy Petticoat, Gleeful, and Earthly Riches MES.

I glanced at the Monogram collection and I wasn't amazed by it. They didn't have the entire collection but I didn't care for the packaging. I'm waiting for the Dame Edna, Hello Kitty Kouture, and Chill collection out. I'm more excited about the Chill because I looooooove the eyeshadows and lipglosses in the collection.

Pleasant Surprise At Work

I love surprises! Today at work I left my desk to make miso soup which sucked because the water wasn't hot enough. When I came back there...what do I see? Lemon tea on my desk! I thought I was imagining things but then I thought you were back, Fatty! Sadly, you are still stuck in Texas. I found out it was R. Awhile back, he was asking about where I get my lemon tea. I was reluctant to tell him where since he may not like it. I hope he liked it because I'd hate to disappoint him. He's so sweet to get me one too. Yum! It made my day better but of course it would have been better if it was from you, Fatty.

I'm spoiled at work. I wonder if it's because I get bitchy if they aren't nice to me? lol Nah, people at work are ridiculously nice. They must think our department starves since it seems they have a feed the hunger campaign going for us. When I started S invited me to a welcome to the company lunch and T asked how come I didn't get one? lol so T got his welcome lunch 3 years later with me. For my bday, R invited us all to Mariana's for lunch before we visited the new place. T gets musubis and hash browns from other coworkers too. Hope they feed us again. =)

Blogging again....

It's been awhile since I had a blog; and I'm not even sure what to blog about since my life is uneventful. Sadly, my life is a bit dull without Jon. We've only been apart for 3 days and I'm feeling the impact he has in my life. I miss him more than I'd like to admit. Sigh, I need to take up a hobby while he's gone...scrapbooking?

I did a little retail therapy at Ala Moana today after work since MAC launched their Cult of Cherry collection today. I went to F21 to exchange my top and my cashier made the mistake of ringing my return as my purchase. So we had to wait for the manager to come and over ride the error. I thought I had the worst memory but apparently she beats me. She repeatedly asked me which one I'm returning...how much time does she need to ask? 3x! She finally had it correct and told me $1.05. I'm waiting for her to give me my change/gift card because the item I was exchanging was cheaper than my return. After realizing her tone meant I owe $1.05 to her, I corrected her that she owes me $1.05. She had to check the tags to make sure because she doubted me. This is what she said next: It's going to be on a gift card, do you still want it? WTF, kinda question is that? The answer is yes and had to wait for the manager to provide the gift card. Ok, it was only $1.05 but she was being lazy and I was feeling obnoxious. o=)

Onto MAC, I wasn't too excited with the new collection because most of the e/s are perm. I walked out with Cherry Blossom l/g and Tempting Quad e/s. I was intending on purchasing Cherry Blossom (I can't resist pink glosses) but Next to Nothing e/s was too difficult to reject. Too bad they weren't sold separately since I didn't care for the green or the bronze e/s. Errm...what am I going to do with those 2 colors?

Work gave me a book to read called The Goal, I'll start reading it on the weekends since I don't have much to do this weekend. Actually, scratch that--I'll be going to F21 in Pearls! j/k. I wanted to decorate my brush holder.
